One of the most highly acclaimed singer-songwriters, Adams is best known for the hit singles “(Everything I Do) I Do It For You,” “Summer Of ’69,” and his Rod Stewart and Sting collaboration, “All For Love.” The Grammy winning artist has seen numerous successes, from a string of No. 1’s in over 40 countries to an excess of 65 million records sold worldwide. His thirst for performing and unique take on live concerts have established him as one of the world’s best rock singers of our time.
Adams’ 14th studio album, Shine A Light, was released in March by Universal Music Group. The title cut and lead single is a great pop-rock opener co-written with singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran. The album’s 12 tracks are a good blend of rock, pop and R&B, including a duet with pop star Jennifer Lopez on the future classic “That’s How Strong Our Love Is.”
Adams is a Companion of the Order of Canada, has been inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame and Canada’s Walk of Fame, and is the recipient of numerous Juno Awards, three Academy Award five Golden Globe nominations, a Grammy Award, American Music Awards, and ASCAP Film and Television Awards.
