THE POPULAR OUTDOOR ROCK YARD CONCERT SERIES AT FANTASY SPRINGS RESORT CASINO ADDS FEMALE METAL GROUP VIXEN, AND MORE TRIBUTE BANDS TO THE LINEUP
JUNE 14, 2023 – INDIO, CA – The popular Rock Yard outdoor concert series at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino adds female metal band Vixen, and more of the country’s greatest tribute acts to the the 2023 lineup.
The FREE concert series kicked off in March and runs through mid-December. In keeping with the Rock Yard ‘On Steroids’ tradition, female hair metal group Vixen will perform on July 29, Latin rock pioneers El Chicano will take the stage on Sept. 16, while rockers Puddle of Mudd will rock out on Nov. 11.
Recently added tribute acts include double bills featuring emo-pop bands Far Out Boy (Fall Out Boy) with Blink 180True (Blink 182) grunge era favorites, Nirvanish (Nirvana) with Vitology (Pearl Jam) and rock/ska/funk groups Amber (311) with Don’t Push (Sublime).
The Rock Yard outdoor venue features an expanded stage in an amphitheater-style setting where live music fans can enjoy exciting concerts with state-of-the-art sound and lighting systems. This season features tributes to rock bands such as Van Halen, ZZ TOP, Rage Against the Machine, and Tool along with fan favorites like the Deftones, Soundgarden, and the Police.
Free live music starts at 7 p.m. every Friday and Saturday night. Beer and fun drink specials that are often themed to the bands that are performing are offered weekly.
Guests must be 18 years or older to rock out.
