October 25, 2023 – Indio, CA – The Cabazon Band of Cahuilla Indians would like to announce that Jay Chesterton has been named the Interim General Manager of Fantasy Springs Resort Casino, taking the reins from our esteemed outgoing General Manager, Paul Ryan. Jay’s appointment comes as a natural progression, as he has been an integral part of the Fantasy Springs family for nearly 18 years, initially joining as the Vice President of Hotel and Food & Beverage.
Jay Chesterton’s journey in the gaming and hospitality industry is nothing short of remarkable. He embarked on his career at Resorts Casino in Atlantic City in 1988, where he displayed an unwavering commitment to excellence. Over the years, he climbed the ranks within the Food & Beverage department, leaving an indelible mark on the resort’s culinary and dining experiences. In 2000, he concluded his tenure at Resorts Casino as the Vice President of Food & Beverage, having set new standards for quality and service.
From there, Jay brought his talents and innovative spirit to Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City, where he continued to hone his skills and elevate guest experiences as their Vice President of Food & Beverage until 2006.
