Fator burst onto the national stage in 2007, when millions of fans voted to make him the winner of the second season of NBC’s America’s Got Talent. In recent years, his talents have been showcased in a wide range of media including the iconic Showtime at the Apollo (where he received a rare standing ovation), three bestselling DVDs, and his frank and candid autobiography, Who’s the Dummy Now, which chronicles the early struggles that helped form the foundation for his later success.
“AGT was the big break I had worked for my entire life,” Fator recalls. Shortly thereafter he launched Terry Fator: The Voice of Entertainment at The Mirage Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. That headlining residency lasted a record-breaking 11 years and earned Fator numerous awards including Las Vegas’ Best Show, Best Impressionist, Best All-Around Performer, Best Family Show and Best Overall Show.
Fator has a number of new projects in the works as well. “Sheltering in place last year afforded me the time and creative bandwidth I needed to begin to develop some ideas I’ve been playing around with for a while,” he says. “I can’t wait to bring a few of them to market in coming months.”
