DEC. 21, 2022 – INDIO, CA – Enjoy breathtaking views high atop the desert floor while listening to the stellar sounds of MoonChild every Friday and Saturday evening from 7 p.m. – 10 p.m. on Twelve at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino.
The free Acoustic and Unplugged set features an intimate showcase from two music industry veterans, Francesco DiCosmo (vocals/bass) and Mark Zavon (vocals/guitar). Both have toured the world performing at legendary venues with bands and performers such as Thin Lizzy, Evanescence, Ratt, Ronnie Montrose, Chris Poland of Megadeth, and more.
Their impressive catalog of songs is packed with hits from Steely Dan, America, The Black Crowes, Def Leppard, The Police, Foo Fighters, The Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Neil Young and more.
“It’s hard to find a place where it’s a nice mix between a rock vibe and a lounge vibe,” DiCosmo said. “Sometimes people dance to our music, and people don’t normally dance to a duo. It’s a true listening experience coupled with dancing which is the best of both worlds.”
The duo has developed a solid following on Twelve thanks to their incredible musicianship and array of material. From time to time there are also special guests that sit in and perform alongside DiCosmo and Zavon.
“The view and the setting are absolutely amazing which makes for an incredible night of music,” Zavon said. “We love interacting with the audience and we will take requests, even if we have to learn a song on the spot, which we’ve been known to do.”
Another great band, Steel Rod, follows MoonChild making for a full night of world- class entertainment. Guests must be 21 to enter.
