EAGLE FALLS AT FANTASY SPRINGS RESORT CASINO LISTED IN GOLFWEEK’S ‘BEST OF 2022: TOP 50 CASINO GOLF COURSES’ ROUNDUP
SEPT. 22, 2022 – Indio, CA – The award winning Clive Clark designed Eagle Falls Golf Course at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino landed on Golfweek Magazine’s Top 50 Casino Golf Courses in the United States, it was recently announced.
The list focuses on courses owned and/or operated by or in conjunction with casinos, with data pulled from Golfweek’s massive database of course rankings. The hundreds of members of Golfweek’s course-ratings panel continually evaluate courses and rate them based on the publication’s 10 criteria.
“Golfers consistently say that playing Eagle Falls makes them feel like they are on vacation and that the course is the best kept golf secret in Southern California,” said Eagle Falls Golf Director, Tom Silva. “The course is scenic and beautifully maintained making for a perfect day on the links for golfers of all levels.”
The beautiful course, set against the Santa Rosa and Chocolate Mountains, was completed in 2007 as part of Fantasy Spring Resort Casino’s multi-million-dollar expansion and was quickly named a top new course by Golfweek magazine. Golfers are treated to unique vistas throughout the terrain including a 40-foot waterfall on the 18th hole, rolling hills, and one hole is an almost exact replica of the “Postage Stamp” 8th hole at the famous Royal Troon Golf Course in Scotland. Since opening, Eagle Falls has consistently been rated one of the top public courses in the Palm Springs area.
Eagle Falls is Coachella Valley’s only golf course on the same site as a casino which offers resort guests the convenience of stepping out of the hotel lobby, dropping their clubs at a bag drop and riding over to the course in less than a minute.
The par 72 course is 6,715 yards with wide fairways, however, pot bunkers, mounds, and water hazards make for some challenging shots.
Eagle Falls also features a pro shop with the latest in golf apparel, shoes, equipment and accessories. Golfers can also grab tasty eats and cold beverages at the snack bar.
The course will be close for overseeding on Monday, Oct. 3 and will re-open on Saturday, Nov. 4.
Seasonal Rates: Nov. 4-Dec. 31; 7-days per week, 18 holes $110; 9 holes $60; replay $75.
