APR. 22, 2024 – INDIO, CA – Cinco de Mayo weekend at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino promises to be a festive celebration with live music including Grammy- nominated group Los Rieleros del Norte and exceptional dining options with Latin flair curated by the award-winning culinary team led by Chef Freddy Rieger. The electric atmosphere of world-class entertainment, dining, and gaming will make for an unforgettable Cinco de Mayo.

An exciting concert by legendary and Grammy-nominated norteño band Los Rieleros del Norte at the Special Events Center on Saturday, May 4 will have everybody on their feet! Head over to LIT on Sunday, May 5 to dance the night away with unforgettable live Latin music from Bohemio, Los Garsa’z, and DJ Nano. FREE live music starts at 7:30 p.m.
The famed Rock Yard outdoor venue will feature Journey Tribute band, Classic Journey on Friday, May 3 and Queen tribute act, Queen Nation on Saturday, May 4. FREE live music begins at 7 p.m.

At POM, dine on shrimp a la diabla featuring Latin spice-grilled shrimp, guajillo chili-tomato sauce, grilled vegetables, Spanish rice and braised beans. $32 per person. The regular menu will also be available. Sunday, May 5. Reservations recommended. 760-238-5834.
Fresh Grill Buffet kicks off with brunch that will be served from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Offerings include a vast selection of breakfast specialties such as custom omelets, Eggs Benedict, griddle favorites, and plenty of traditional sides.
Salads and soups with Latin flair include Mexican fiesta salad with roasted corn, black beans, queso fresco, Escabeche salad, Mexican cactus salad and Baja-style shrimp cocktail along with Puebla-style menudo.
Mouth-watering chef specialties feature ‘Churrasco-style’ grilled to order New York steaks, stuffed airline chicken breast with chorizo, roasted red peppers and Manchengo cheese, seafood Veracruz, beef chile Colorado with nopales, and more. There will also be a mouthwatering array of Italian, Asian, and Latin specialties.
The buffet will also feature a large selection of succulent seafood on ice and the savory carving board with roast prime rib, maple roasted turkey breast, and honey glazed Virginia ham.
For dessert, Fantasy Springs’ famous chocolate fountain, churros, caramel flan, arroz con leche, bananas Foster, a huge selection of cakes and pastries along with sugar-free selections and much more.
