ACCLAIMED PIANIST ANDY LANGHAM PERFORMS AT JAZZ ON TWELVE ON SUNDAY, JULY 26th
July 16th, 2020 – INDIO, CA – Jazz on Twelve, the Coachella Valley’s premier live jazz series, returns to Twelve Cocktail Lounge and Wine Bar at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino on Sunday, July 26th with acclaimed jazz pianist Andy Langham. Joining Andy will be Larry Holloway on bass and Andy Fraga on drums. The performance is from 2 to 5 p.m., doors open at 1 p.m; admission is FREE. Guests are required to wear protective masks and adhere to Fantasy Springs’ social distancing guidelines.
Langham studied music at The University of North Texas and Texas State University, and toured the world as a member of the Grammy Award-winning Poncho Sanchez Latin Jazz Band and Grammy nominated jazz sensation Jane Monheit. He also toured with Big Bad VooDoo Daddy, Natalie Cole, Christopher Cross, John Heard, Christian McBride, New York Voices, Ray Price, Dewey Redman, Steve Tyrell, and Ernie Watts.
Langham has recorded or performed with Ravi Coltrane, the Four Freshmen, Sally Kellerman, Willie Nelson, Wayne Newton, The Platters, and many others. He currently teaches Jazz Piano at the Bob Cole Conservatory at California State University Long Beach.
