GOLDEN BOY BOXING RETURNS TO FANTASY SPRINGS ON APRIL 21 WITH JOEL DIAZ JR. TAKING ON MERCITO GESTA IN THE MAIN EVENT
March 25 , 2022 – INDIO, CA – Golden Boy Boxing makes its exciting return to the the Special Events Center at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino on Thursday, April 21 with Palmdale’s Joel Diaz Jr. (26-2, 22 KOs) taking on San Diego’s Mercito “No Mercy” Gesta (32-3-3, 17 KOs) in a 10-round super lightweight main event.

The 10-round super lightweight event will also feature some of Southern California’s undefeated fighters and bright stars, Jousce “Tito” Gonzalez (11-0-1, 10 KOs) from Glendora, CA, in an 8-round co-main lightweight fight against Jairo Lopez (27-14, 17 KOs) of Apodaca, Mexico; and Jorge Chavez (1-0, 1 KOs) a top prospect from San Diego, CA is scheduled for a 4-round super featherweight fight. The event will also be streamed live on DAZN worldwide.
Other bouts will include Coachella’s own undefeated Manuel Flores (11-0, 8 Kos) in an 8-round bantamweight fight; and Jan Salvatierra from Los Cabos, Mexico (7-1, 3 KOs) will face an opponent to be announced in a 6-round flyweight match for an evening of exhilarating boxing.
